To our Temple families,
As part of our MYP Service Learning mission, Travis Science Academy and Scott Elementary School have partnered with Texas Teachers in Houston to help Teague Middle School in Aldine ISD, one of many schools affected by Hurricane Harvey. Many students were displaced from their homes by the Hurricane, and they have requested assistance. Here is a list of requested items:
Pencils (Very Needed) Expo Markers
Dry erasers Colored pencils
Anchor chart paper Markers
Highlighters scissors
Pencil sharpeners Hand sanitizer
Glue sticks composition notebooks
Rulers Kleenex
Loose leaf paper
We will be collecting these items at both schools through October 18th. Please contact the school to get information on locations of collection sites at the school. Let’s pull together these items to help out our fellow Texas students to get back on their feet and have a great school year! Thank you so much for thinking of others in their time of need.
