Temple ISD School Board Approves Amanda Winkler as new Assistant Principal at Travis Science Academy On Monday, November 16th, during regular business meeting of the Temple ISD School Board Mr. Joe Palmer and Ms. Kristina Carter presented Mrs. Amanda Winkler to the school board for consideration as new Assistant Principal.
Travis Math Counts Team Sweeps Competition On Thursday, Nov. 12th the Travis Science Academy Math Counts team participated in a local competition at Freeman Heights.
Travis Orchestra Winners from All Region Announced Auditions for the North Zone Middle School All Region Orchestra were held Saturday, November 14th at Harker Heights High School.
Travis Canned Food Drive Travis Staff and Students are collecting canned food items for needy families.

Halloweiner??? On Friday, October 30th our Travis staff enjoyed a Halloween luncheon that consisted of hot dogs with all of the extras! This has become a tradition at Travis and a great time for the faculty and staff to socialize in a more relaxed setting.
Staff and Students Enjoy Red Ribbon Week During the week of Oct. 26th - 30th that staff and students of Travis Science Academy participated in Red Ribbon Week. They were allowed to dress up to the themes that supported anti-bullying and anti-drug use.
