Travis Science Academy bids a fond farewell to Paula Knight, choir director at the school for the past three years. Mrs. Knight will be stepping down at the end of the first semester to prepare to care for family members.
Knight has been instrumental in maintaining a successful choir program and works with theater arts teacher Abigail Scarborough to produce musical stage plays each spring.
Knight leaves behind a 29 year teaching career that has seen stops in Temple, Round Rock, and other location in the state.
The school has hired Ms. Madison Marshall as the new choir teacher. She will start in January when students return from winter break.
