Students learned content and conducted activities where the learning concepts were shared across both subjects. The unit focused on the Global Context of Sustainability and Globalization, which investigates content through the ideas of maintaining worldwide efforts to save the Earth.
Students applied math concepts in Scale Factors to build DOMES through scale modeling. These DOMES functioned as environmental BIOMES in the Science classes, where students created model representations of global environments in different climate zones.
Through investigation, experimentation, and creating these projects, students were able to apply required learning to real-life situations.
