Officer Mitchell, our SRO at Travis Science Academy, is truly an outstanding role model for all our staff, students, and community. He is in the halls, classrooms and at buses with students. He participates in all school activities and even got the Temple Police Canine unit to come out to celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Our students were able to learn about the Canine Unit as well as to watch him in action. The students even got to pet him. Officer Mitchell goes over and above every day to involve our students. In addition to the Canine Unit, he also brought the Simulator for students to understand the feeling of impaired driving. We thank you Officer Mitchell for all you do for Travis Science Academy.
