Being a cheerleader is an honor and a privilege. Cheerleaders promote good sportsmanship, good citizenship, and wholesome and enthusiastic school spirit. Most importantly cheerleaders represent their school and as Travis Mustangs, cheerleaders are to exemplify both individual and group behavior suitable to their position and in accordance with the rules as stated in the TISD Student Code of Conduct. Cheerleaders have a fundamental responsibility to play a leadership role in building teamwork and in helping the school reach its goals and objectives. Because of these responsibilities, members of the cheerleading squad will be expected to maintain a higher standard of behavior and academic achievement than their peers both on and off campus.

Cheerleading Sponsor
I am very excited to share that the Travis Science Academy Cheerleaders will be able to utilize the Ralph Wilson Youth Club (RWYC) on Mondays for after school practices during the 2017-2018 school year.
The cheer sponsor will walk the cheerleaders to the RWYC at 3:50 pm and walk them back to TSA at 4:50 pm.  Parents will pick up cheerleaders in front of the main school building at 4:50 pm.
