Sixth Grade Winner: ERICK LEMUS
Erick was nominated for being PRINCIPLED. In school, he is always following instructions, works hard on his assignments and respects his teachers. He cares for others and builds positive relationships with his peers. He is open to new ideas, works hard on being creative with his tasks. As an artist, he draws well and crochets, leading his team to complete their Thanksgiving Donation box.
Seventh Grade Winner: JOSHUA LOPEZ
Josh was nominated for being BALANCED. Josh is a hard worker who balances school with outside activities. He has good grades and is involved with the Band at Travis. Outside of school he is involved with soccer with his friends and attends church each week with his family each week. He is a great example of what is means to be Balanced.
Eighth Grade Winner: CAMERYN STEWART
For all the activities she does, Cameryn demonstrates exactly what BALANCE means for students. She plays A level in multiple sports, is involved with the symphonic and Jazz bands with their hectic schedule, and she has all As in her classes. She often misses parts or all of school days due to her schedule but attends after school tutoring to make sure she stays on top of her academic work.
