PAMELA TATE Eighth Grade Language and Literature Teacher
On her nomination form, it was noted that Mrs. Tate excels in many areas of teacher, that she is a “rock star”, but it is her willingness to do what is best for the students and the MYP Programme that set her apart. In tackling the difficulty of serving those 8th grade students with reading challenges, Mrs. Tate has also taken those same students with challenges as a Mustang Team and focused them to complete the Community Project. She accepted and welcomed the challenges with a positive attitude that rubbed off on her team. Students go to her Mustang Team excited to work with the Community Project and MYP. Mrs. Tate has certainly done her share to grow the MYP culture here at Travis. Congratulations Mrs. Tate!
